About LCIDPA
Lake County IDPA (LCIDPA) is proud to offer local shooters the opportunity to engage in friendly and safe competition. As the largest IDPA Club in Central Florida, LCIDPA offers challenging and educational matches on a monthly basis. Check the CALENDAR for upcoming events.
Lake County IDPAs purpose is to encourage organized shooting among members of our community with a view toward a better knowledge of the participants on the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship.
To forward the development of the characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance which are the essentials for good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
OUR GOAL:
IDPA uses practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated real world self-defense scenarios using practical handguns and holsters that are suitable for self-defense use. The main goal is to test the skill and ability of an individual.
